This months training had an international theme, were each patrol was asked to research two countries and find out about there food, culture and Scouting. They then put together a presentation to tell the rest of the unit about there chosen countries. So we all now know a little more about Mexico, Japan, Australia, Zimbabwe, Tajikistan, USA, Bangladesh, and Oman. This excersise also gave the unit members a chance to learn some presentation skills. The Patrols were also asked to prepare a song or other form or entertainment which proved interesting with some great ukulele playing to accompany a couple of them. |
