January Training

For this months Training the Unit went to Tolmers Fire and Ice Camp near Cuffley. This gave the unit the unit the chance to practice camping in some not so great weather, with plenty of mud . This event, attended by over 600 Scouts and Explorer Scouts from across the region also gave them an opportunity to try out many activities such as Quad Bikes , Climbing , Quazar and Archery as well as some fun stuff like Dodgems, and knocking lumps our of each other on the Gladiators .
This largely activity based weekend was enjoyed by everyone, the unit also manage to find a few other people on site also going to the Jamboree with other units.
Some of the unit members shooting skills also came in to good use over the weekend when they entered the Air rifle and pistol competitions with Sam and Jon walking away with the winners Certificates
