10th July Saw the Jamboree units last training day before we go off to the jamboree in 13 days time. Not long now and the excitement levels are getting very high. Bugs unit was joined by Swan Patrol for the final get together. The started with a detailed walk through of the Jamboree plans and a chance to find out where they will be staying in Copenhagen as well as some more details on the programme of activities they can expect in Copenhagen and at the Jamboree. As break from the powerpoint marathon the units had a bit of fun learning a new game 'Swedish long ball’ which provided an opportunity to let off some steam. The afternoon was spent preparing for a parents meeting (we thought they might like to know what we were up to) followed by a BBQ and the cutting of the very impressive BUGS cake News also broke that BUGS unit Video had been chosen as the Day 16 count down Video on the World Scout Jamboree Swedish web site.
