After much discussion over the last few month, it has now been confirmed that Buckinghamshire Scouts have managed to secure places for an additional patrol to attend the Jamboree in 2011. The patrol will be made up of 9 Scouts/Explorer Scouts from around the County and a Leader. They will form a composite unit with patrols from Kent, Hertforshire, and Leciestershire to make up a unit of 40 People. Districts around the County are busy appointing these young people from there list of reserves. While these young people and leader do not form part of the Buckinghamshire unit, they will get the opportunity to enjoy the Jamboree in a very similar way, with fellow Scouts from the other Counties from day one. |
