The Bucks Jamboree units second training event took place on Saturday. All the unit members were excited to be meeting up again and continue there training. the day started with a Talk and question and answer session with a Abi and Jen who where part of the Bucks Ducks unit in 2007, the unit found out what a typical day on the Jamboree site was about as well as vital things about toilet/showers/food and interacting with other interenational scouts. Next they took on the spaghetti and marshmallow tower challenge (where they were not alowed to communicate in English) with some intersting results ! In the Afternoon everyone had a chance to have a go at Archery as a fun activity, this was followed by a discussion on Codes of Conduct. The evening saw a few of the unit members at the Scout County Dinner, where they had a chance to tell many of the Dignitarys present all about there training and what they are going to do at the Jamboree. |
