The Units May training event at Dorney wood Scout Camp site, was the units first chance for the unit to camp together and another welcome opportunity to meet up and catch up. As well as practising there camping skills, over the weekend the unit members also brushed up on some basic Scouting skills such as Fire lighting, woggle making and how to use Axe and Saw as well as a useful talk on camp hygiene using bristol stool chart as a useful reminder of the consequence’s.

Other highlights of the weekend included a 3 course Sunday lunch cooked backwoods style, including Sardines , whole roast Chicken x 4 and chocolate bananas.

The impromptu water fight on a very hot afternoon and Camp fire with High Wycombe cubs completed a very packed and successful weekend
