For the Units June training event we moved to the north of the County and Camped at the Quarries Scout Camp site in Milton Keynes. This Weekend proved to be a very busy one with not only training, but also Fundraising with very successful Bag pack at Morrisons which everyone in the unit took part in at some point over the weekend. In between the Bag packing the unit managed to do some site service work fo rhte Quarries, practiced there pioneering skills a little more and use the brilliant Archery range on site. Now formed in to Patrols, the Young people also took the opportunity for some inter patrol challenges and races as well as recieving an update on the latest information from HQ on the Jamboree preparations |
