First aid is a vital skill the unit hope they do not have to use ! but it is a useful life skill and one that forms a key part of the units training so the October Training day was set aside to get the whole unit through a first aid Course. While many of the unit had some first aid skills, it was a good chance to refresh and update those skills. They learned about CPR, heart attacks, asthma, breaks, bleeding and burns to name but a few things. They also had a chance to learn and practice there bandaging skills, with some interesting results !

The day also saw the unit get there long awaited hoodies and unit badges, both of which caused great excitement.
